Update on the New Regulations for Party Buses
In October 2021, Nashville Metro Council took affirmative steps to limit the disruptions caused by the party buses. The new rules will limit where the vehicles may travel, how much noise the vehicles may emit, and will place significant limitations on alcohol consumption.
Beginning December 1st, alcohol will not be allowed on party buses that do not have a roof. Councilman O’Connell signaled the possibility the council may impose a permit system that will once again allow the party buses to have alcohol on board. The other regulations will not be instituted until April 2022.
